In 2019, the team of the Department of Intellectual Property and Project Management (IP and PM) received 13 certificates of registration of copyrights for tutorials and guidelines. The authors of the scientific works are: Head of the Department of IP and PM, Associate Professor Korogod Nataliya (6 certificates), Associate Professor Mironenko Irina (4 certificates), Associate Professor Novorodovska Tatiana (2 certificates), Senior Teacher Shvets Yevheniia (1 certificate). Organizational questions regarding the acquisition of the rights to scientific works and obtaining the certificates were relied on by the associate professors of the department of Novorodovska Tatiana and Rulikova Nataliya.
The staff of the department congratulates Mironenko Irina on receiving the title of associate professor of the department of intellectual property and project management and wishes professional achievements, new achievements in the scientific field, good health, optimism and well-being, a sense of completeness and uniqueness of life!

In September 2018, the staff and students of the Department of Intellectual Property and Project Management participated in important scientific events.
Thus, the participation of our scientific and pedagogical staff of the department in the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Project Management: State and Prospects", which was held at Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv, September 11-14, 2018), has become traditional. This year's reports were presented by assistant Shvets Y. and associate professor Rulikova N., as well as undergraduates Lebed V. (gr. AM901-12M), Lushpi V., Tomb K. (gr. PM902-12M) and postgraduates Kulik V., Lazareva Y. under the direction of prof. Petrenko V.
On September 27, 2018, the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students on Intellectual Property Problems "Ukrainian Legislation in the Sphere of Intellectual Property and its Law Enforcement: National, European and International Dimensions" was held, where their presentations were submitted by undergraduates of the specialty "Management", specialization " Intellectual Property ": Sots K., Maslsky S., Masalsky O., Reinhold A. (head Prof. Petrenko V.), the conference was held at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
During the solemn meeting of the Academic Council faculty, the lecturers of the Department of Intellectual Property received the following awards:
- Diplomas of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council: Head of the Department of Intellectual Property Korogod Natalia and Professor of the Department Petrenko Vitaliy;
- Diploma of the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council: Associate Professor Drach Iryna;
- Certificate of honor NMetAU: assistant of the department Shvets Evgeniia
On December 7, 2017, at the Department of Intellectual Property, a round table was held on the theme "Actual problems of protection and protection of rights in case of unlawful use of intellectual property".
The meeting was attended by teachers from different departments of NMetAU and students of the humanities faculty, faculty of economics and management, in particular, specialties "Management" (specialization intellectual property), "Information, library and archiving business", "Professional education", "Philology".
The meeting began with a presentation by the Head of the Department of Intellectual Property Korogod N.P., devoted to the characterization of the intellectual property rights system in Ukraine, the procedure for acquiring rights at the national and international levels and the protection of intellectual property rights.
During the discussion, the greatest interest was raised with regard to:
- lawful use of copyright objects on the Internet;
- distribution of property rights between the author and the employer on official works;
- practical aspects of acquiring rights to industrial property objects created at higher educational establishments;
- international patenting procedures;
- ways to protect against unlawful use of intellectual property rights objects, including on the Internet.
All those present were informed about the possibility to participate in scientific conferences, contests and competitions on intellectual property and invited to consult the discussions with faculty.

Industrial Commission Decision Ukrainian student research on intellectual property held March 24, 2017 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, scientific work Ohurchenka VG TA and Volikova "The problems of administrative and legal protection and improvement forensics violations of intellectual property" (head prof. V. Petrenko) took third place, and they were awarded the diploma of III degree.

Alekseev Artem student gr. ME-10-12M with awarding diploma Olympics organizing committee for their active participation in the second stage of the competition;

The results of Olympiad (I phase: January-February 2017) for the best connoisseur creative and intellectual activity among the students of full-time and distance learning National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, which was attended by 116 students presented below. The active participation in conducting the Olympiad took students: Extra-Mural Faculty, Humanities, Electrometallurgical Faculty, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of physical metallurgy and treatment of metals. The winners will participate in the Olympics on Intellectual Property (II stage: April 2017), which will be held at the National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute"
Within the framework of a nationwide of law in NMetAU week at the Department of Intellectual Property, a round table discussion "Actual problems of protection of rights in the illegal use of intellectual property."
The meeting was attended by teachers of different departments and students NMetAU "Management", "Metallurgy", "Foundry", "Information, Library and Information Science", "Professional Education", "Philology".
During the round table were discussed topics that interested students and teachers. Thus, the students most interested in the issue of plagiarism and fair use of copyright when writing final papers, essays, articles and more. In the teachers many questions arisen on the protection of officials of intellectual property. Discussion was the selection of expedient forms of the legal protection of of the results of scientific activity of teachers, the procedure for acquiring rights to intellectual property.
All participants of the round table invited to join in conferences on intellectual property and on the consultation a conversation with the lecturer.
We hope that such meetings shall be a tradition and invite employees and students of NMetAU for future cooperation!
