Bright memory of the hero-defender of Ukraine
It was with great regret and sadness that we received the news that on September 11, 2022, during artillery shelling on the territory of Visokopill, Kherson region (now de-occupied), the 5th-year student of our faculty PRYHODKO Oleksandr Volodymyrovych (group МЕ909-18Н) died heroically.
As reported on the website of JSC Pokrovsky GZK, before the start of the war, Oleksandr worked for 12 years, first as a machinist of pumping units, and then as an assistant machinist of a walking excavator. He was a sensitive and loving father, having a beautiful family and two wonderful daughters, a kind and sensitive friend, an expert in the business he was engaged in. In 2018, on the recommendation of the company's management, he enrolled at the Nikopol faculty under the "Metallurgy" educational program and should soon be preparing his diploma for defense.
