Strengthening the partnerships of young scientists between National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine and universities in the republic of Belarus within the international projects

The young scientists of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine actively participate in international projects, developing and strengthening cooperation with foreign institutions of higher education partners. So within the framework of the international project CERES «Centres of Excellence for young RESearchers», which co-founded by the Tempus program of the European Union, at the invitation of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics (BSUIR), on December 2, 2015 in Minsk young scientists of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, the associate professor at the Department of electrometallurgy Zhadanos Oleksandr and assistant at the department of technological design Konstiantyn Bilan read a lecture to students of the university.

Lecture on "Information technologies in the steel industry" was prepared with the support of the Centre of Excellence for Young Scientists, established in the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine in the framework of CERES. The purpose and objective of this project is:

• Maximum brings education in universities with the needs of modern enterprises;

•To improve the level of research conditions for young scientists in the EU, Belarus and Ukraine;

•To establish new and expand existing partnerships between businesses and universities.

From the European Union in the project involved the University of Zilina (Zilina, Slovakia), the University of Paderborn (Paderborn, Germany) and Brno University of Technology (Brno, Czech Republic). On the part of our country, with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, are actively involved the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, the National Transport University (Kyiv), Zaporizhzhya National Technical University, Experimental Production Company Radium (Kirovograd). The Belarusian side is represented by Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics (Minsk), Gomel State University named by Francisk Skoryna, Brest State Technical University and the Joint Institute of Informatics Problems of Belorussian National Academy of sciences.

The audience of lectures consisted from the students at the department of information technology software from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics.

The topic of lecture was devoted to a several areas:

1. Using of informational technologies in metallurgical industry.

2. Organization the educational process in National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, the place and role of information technologies in educational process.

3. Organization of interaction between students and young scientists in National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine with young scientists of industrial enterprises in the framework of the "Center driving experience for young scientists" which created in National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.

The lecture was accompanied by a display of large amounts of multimedia materials that promote the absorption of the material, and clearly demonstrated the problems that are solved in the industry through information technologies.

I think that these meetings and projects supported by the European Union, is an excellent platform for networking and partnerships between young scientists from different countries.

I would like to thank our partners from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics for the excellent facilities of the lecture, the ability to introduce students BSUIR with the achievements of our university in the field of information technologies and organization the work of young scientists, for helpful tips in direction of the organization young scientists interaction with industry and using distance learning for this purpose.
