Meeting with future entrants
On September 16, 2021 on the basis of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, within the framework of the Industry 4.0 project, an introductory seminar with students of Dnipropetrovsk Industrial College and their teachers was held in the established laboratory "Virtual Machine-Building Production".
During the seminar, the staff of the department acquainted future entrants with the latest laboratory equipment, held a master class on working with a laser engraver and 3D printer. The seminar Industry 4.0 is the next stage of digitalization of production technologies with accelerated introduction of new developments and cyber-physical systems, changes business models, its concept is applied to production processes in industry, but often it is also used for production processes in energy, transport, in infrastructure, etc.
Students were very interested in this topic, some expressed a desire to visit the laboratory individually in the future. The present teachers of the college (Maryenko YP, Lunkin KV, Sheremet IM) were also pleasantly surprised by the equipment and structure of the laboratory and offered further cooperation with the department.
