At the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, within the framework of the international project Erasmus +: "Strengthening the role of ZVO in industrial transformation in the context of the Industry 4.0 paradigm in Georgia and Ukraine" (HEIn4), 609939-EPP-1-2019-1 -BE-EPPKA2-CBHE -JP, in order to improve the qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers of the Academy, a training seminar was held on the topic: “INDUSTRY 4.0 in modern production. ESSENCE, KEY ELEMENTS AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION ".

The training seminar was conducted by representatives of the Festo Ukraine company, which is a leading global supplier of automation technologies and a leader in the field of industrial training and professional development programs. Festo is one of the world's leading suppliers of automation and mechatronic technology and a leader in industrial training and continuing education programs, including in the context of Industry 4.0.

Employees of the Department of Automation of Production Processes took an active part in the work of the seminar, and the knowledge gained will allow the employees of the department to significantly increase the level of educational and scientific activities by highlighting modern Industry 4.0 technologies and their impact on the economic efficiency of modern enterprises.

Also, within the framework of the international project Erasmus + "Strengthening the role of ZVO in industrial transformation in the context of the Industry 4.0 paradigm in Georgia and Ukraine" (HEIn4), 609939-EPP-1 2019-1-BE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, a webinar was held, which concluded a series of trainings from Festo.

Festo representatives answered the questions of the webinar participants and summed up the training program. In addition, as a goodwill, Festo has provided all project participants with free access to its training resources on the Festo LX platform until the end of 2020.
