Work ІІ International conference of students, post-graduate students and young scientists "Modern technology of refractory non-metal and silicate materials" NTU "KhPI"
23-24 march 2011 representatives of the department of chemical technology of ceramics and refractory(CТCR)took part in work of II International conference of students, post-graduate students and young scientists "Modern technology of refractory non-metal and silicate materials", which was held in the National technical university "Kharkiv polytechnic institute". At the conference were discussed the results of scientific-research works in the following directions: ceramic and fireproof products of various purpose; composite and binding materials; advanced technologies of glass and емалей; modern equipment and intensification of production processes; ecology, resource- and energy-saving technologies.
In the conference took part the students-researchers and young scientists of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. National metallurgical academy of Ukraine were students-masters Makarova A.S., DyshkoL.S., Babayeva O.S. (group CS-06) and a post-graduate student Онасенко YU.A. (3rd year of study), chair of chemical technology of ceramics and refractories (CТCR).
Science
Under the direction of associate professor of the department Karasik T.L. students-masters Babayeva O.S. and DyshkoL.S. during the school year carried out scientific-research work on research of structure and properties of silicate glasses using the method of infrared spectroscopy and unique device for determining the surface tension of the molten glass on the border of the two phases of the "melt - metal surface".
Special interest of the participants of the conference reports have students Makarova A.S. (head - associate professor Naumov O.S.) and ph.d student Онасенко Y.A. (the head -Pilipchatin L.D.), who presented the results of experimental studies in the field of unmolded refractory materials, in particular, the concrete of new generation on hydraulic binders. Study of the effect of mineral plasticizer of concrete mass and surface-active substances on the properties of refractorylow-cementconcrete andAl-Ca cement, allowed researchers to develop new aspects of the conceptual view of the sensitive unit that has scientifically debatable character.
