July 16, 2026, marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ilya Vasilyevich Lysenko (1926–2001). In honor of this anniversary, Mykola Myronenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences and professor in the Department of International Economics, Management, and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines at the Dnipro Metallurgical Institute, has prepared a biobibliographical essay titled “Professor Ilya Lysenko—A Man of Lofty Aspirations.” It consists of two parts: a biographical sketch and a selected bibliography of the scholar’s scientific works. The book is freely available in the university’s scientific library.
We invite everyone interested to familiarize themselves with this popular science work in our library (room 259).
The book will be of interest to anyone interested in the history and development of science in the Dnipro region.
Remembering our predecessors is important for future generations to ensure a continuous link in the development of generations.
