On Friday, November 8, 2024 a meeting of Prof. Olena Zavhorodnia with students of the graduating classes of Dnipro Lyceum No. 97. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn more about USUNT, the history of its creation and competitive advantages, the composition of institutes, faculties and bachelor's educational programs of NNI DMETI. At the end, the students expressed their plans regarding the professions and specialties with which they associate their future.

IMPORTANT EVENT IN SCIENTIFIC LIFE OF UKRAINE.
Newly took place the International scientific conference of "Second Galchinsky reading" in the National institute of strategic researches (Kyiv), what been the base of scientific-research establishment of scientifically-analytical maintenance for activity of President of Ukraine and the Council of national security and defensive of Ukraine, by a consultative-deliberative organ for President of Ukraine. The aim of conference is development of the scientifically-methodological guarantee of state strategies and politics in the conditions of global post-industrial transformations.

On September 30, 2024, the defense of the reports on the pre-diploma practice of the
departments master’s students took place and its results were summarized. All students have
done the individual tasks in time, collected sufficient materials for the completion of final
qualification papers and received favourable reviews from the supervisors based on the results of
the practice. The penultimate step on the way to obtaining the high educational degree «Master
of Economics» within the educational program «International Economics» has been successfully
completed.

. Initiator and organization is the International Foundation of Scientists and Educators on the
basis of the Research Institute of the Lublin Science and Technology Park ( Lublin, Republic of
Poland). The problem area of the webinar covered the following issues: familiarization with the
content, meaning, potential and directions of using artificial intelligence technologies (AIT) in
the educational process, forecasts regarding the impact and consequences of the AIT’ using for
future education; expanding knowledge about specialized software and online platforms that can
be used in educational activities in the conditions of distance and mixed learning, formation of
interactive skills for working with AIT.

CELEBRATION CONCERT ON THE OCCASION OF THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF UDUNT
On June 13, 2024, a festive concert was held in the Palace of Culture of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the establishment and success of the university.
The event gathered numerous guests, including: government representatives, teachers, students and graduates. The Department of International Economics and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines also took an active part in this celebration.
Acting the rector of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology Kostyantyn Sukhy awarded the directors of educational and scientific institutes with honorary awards «Leader of Education and Science of Dnipro» and noted that: «This is not only the anniversary of one university, but also the anniversary of higher education of Dnipro.»

On May 11, 2024, representatives of the department of international economics and social and humanitarian disciplines took part in the large-scale educational festival Dnipro Education City 2024, which took place in the park named after T. Shevchenko.
This event was a great opportunity to present the "International Economics" educational program to future students.
During the "Professions Fair", associate professors of the MEHSD department, Iryna Oleksandrivna Tsurkanova and Stanislav Serhiyovych Beskaravainy, actively involved everyone who wanted to focus on international aspects of economic activity.

ARTICLE IN A PROFESSIONAL COLLECTION
Associate Professor of the Department of international economics and social and humanities Tsurkanova Iryna Oleksandrivna together with Associate Professor of the Department of philosophy and ukrainian studies Radkevich Tetyana Oleksiivna wrote a joint article on the topic: «Political culture and the culture of politics: a comparative analysis of the current state of society in Ukraine», which was published in a specialist collection Category B «Regional Studies».
The research is aimed at understanding and highlighting important aspects of the political landscape during the military conflict and its impact on the current political reality in Ukraine.
