Master thesis of Metal forming department students
On June 26, 2015 in the Conference hall of the NMetAU there were defended master thesis of Metal forming department students who had internship in the universities of Hannover and Paderborn (Germany). This event is a part of the «Praxispartnerschaft Metallurgie» project, funded by the German Society for Academic Exchange (DAAD) with costs of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
Education
At the26th of June 2015 students of the Metal Forming Department who took part in an internship in Germany at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Universität Paderborn defended their master theses in the Conference Hall. This event is part of exchange program “Praxispartnerschaft Metallurgie” which is granted by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The students defended their master theses in Ukrainian, English, German and Russian.
The Chairman of the State Examination Commission Prof. Igor Prikhodko (Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy NASU) and Dr. Florian Nürnberger (Institut für Werkstoffkunde (Materials Science) from the Leibniz Universität Hannover) highlighted the professional level of the graduates as well as their presenting skills in foreign languages.
At the 30th of June 2015 Dr. Florian Nürnberger (Institut für Werkstoffkunde (Materials Science) from the Leibniz Universität Hannover) took part in the interviews with the internship applicants for 2016 within «Praxispartnerschaft Metallurgie». Additonally, the German guest conducted a workshop for the students and teachers of the NMetAU with the topics: „Job Interview“, „Presenting of Scientific Results” and “DAAD-Praxispartnerschaft Metallurgie” and took part at the Pridneprovsk scientific seminar "Metal Forming".
Such events will take place regularly within the German-Ukrainian «Praxispartnerschaft Metallurgie» until 2018.
Further participants are invited to join the international metallurgical project.
