Information
The Ukrainian delegation, headed by Professor Tetyana Khokhlova, was received by the rector of the Technical University - Varna, Professor, Doctor Dragomir Plamenov, who expressed sincere gratitude for the greetings from the rector of UDUNT K.M. Sukhoi. In a friendly conversation, a full understanding was reached on the development of further cooperation between TU-Varna and UDUNT, the directions of which were fixed by signatures in a joint memorandum of cooperation and a corresponding agreement between the universities. The total number of participants, together with those who participated in the so-called "correspondence" format (including with an online presentation in ZOOM) amounted to about 240 people from over 80 higher educational institutions of Ukraine and Bulgaria. It is important that 37 participants are postgraduate students and young scientists, for whom participation in the conference and presentation of a report is an excellent opportunity to publicize and discuss (approbate) the obtained scientific results. In accordance with the previously agreed program, more than 60 reports by Ukrainian and Bulgarian specialists were heard and discussed at the plenary sessions, approximately half of which were carried out remotely, with the "presence" of the speakers and their presentations on the main screen in the meeting room. For participants who underwent scientific and pedagogical internship under the international program "Modern Trends in Higher Education in the European Union Countries. Experience of the Technical University of Varna" excursions were organized and conducted to the leading scientific and educational laboratories of TU-Varna, in particular - to the modern laboratory of mechatronics. Bulgarian specialists gladly took part in events related to the internship program, after which interesting scientific discussions, exchange of views and acquaintances took place. Following the results of the conference, a collection of materials is planned to be published by the end of June, which will have an international ISBN index. The collection includes 89 reports with a total volume of about 500 pages. The organizing committee of the conference expresses deep gratitude to the leadership of TU-Varna for the excellent conditions and friendly atmosphere of fruitful communication during the conference. Special thanks to the leadership of UDUNT, which contributed to the maximum extent to holding the conference in Varna at the proper level, and the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology received additional opportunities to expand promising cooperation within the framework of a common European educational space in the light of Ukraine's European integration movement.
