The “Innovation&Commercialization” section was created within the UNI4INNO Project. The NMAU being a partner of the UNI4INNO project manages the website of the established Centre of Innovations, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship. UNI4INNO has been funded with support from the European Union (Programme Tempus IV). Tempus is the European Union's program which supports the modernization of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia , the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects. The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Agency Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for the management of Tempus IV (2007 – 2013), under the supervision of EuropeAid - European Commission Co-operation Office (AIDCO) and Directorate-General for Enlargement (DG ELARG of the European Commission). The main objectives of the “Innovation & Commercialization” section are:
- providing an awareness and support of innovative - research activities among researchers, staff and students ;
- support of the researchers in implementing - innovative research projects;
- detection, valorization and transfer of research results;
- establishing strategic partnerships with industry;
- encouragement and promotion of the research work;
- intensification of research cooperation with enterprises and participation in international projects;
- improvement of IP management. |
