The European Innovation Transfer Network (IITN) was created within the UNI4INNO project.
The main object of the Network is to consolidate the information resources of HEIs, innovative structures, enterprises and other organizations in joint projects.
The main tasks of the IITN:
technology transfer between university research and business;
attraction and search of partners and investors for cooperation and implementation of high technology scientific products;
cooperation with other transfer technology networks.
IITN offers wide ranges of educational services, among them are: distance education, full-time education (seminars, trainings, upgrading of staff, etc.) and traineeships.

Manager of our Centre Iryna Sorokina took part at the meeting and presented the report «Development of Dnipropetrovs'k Centre of innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship».
The purpose of participation was to deliver information to participants about the existence and activities of the CICE, looking for new partners among researchers and representatives of municipal organizations, implementation of entrepreneurship among youth in Dnepropetrovsk in order to increase interest in next questions: involvement in business, increasing of innovation and entrepreneurship activity.
persons attended the event, among them 11 Speakers from 8 HEIs of Dnipropetrovs'k.
Representatives of the Dnipropetrovs'k city council, Dnepropetrovsk city center of social services for families, children and youth, Department of Statistics in Dnipropetrovs'k region, Association of Business Partnership of Dnipropetrovs'k took part in the event.
One of the important objectives of the meeting was to support the younger generation to meet its needs.
On June 22 at the City Council was held a warding ceremony of project-winners « Youth of Dnipropetrovs'k to Native City ". The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Irina Zaitseva .
This year's competition involved more than 40 teams of young scientists ; the best was selected 12 projects . Each winner received a grant from the city budget in the amount of 20 to 30 thousand for the implementation of its own project .
Especially pleased to announce the victory of young scientists from the Academy Iryna Sorokina with her project "Development of Dnipropetrovs'k Center of Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship ."
In the project Irina tries to solve the problem of implementation of entrepreneurial activity among youth in Dnipropetrovs'k to raise interest in business issues .

To foster cooperation between the higher education and the research sector in the framework of the UNI4INNO Project 6 Ukrainian universities were invited to participate in this event.
The event was very useful for NMAU Innovation Office and for the UNI4INNO project objectives, because allowed to establish new contacts, in the first place, with the representatives of the Antwerpen - Waasland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Belgian – Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, what opened new opportunities of cooperation between Ukrainian Universities and Belgium business, stimulate networking, develop, support and consolidate relations between Belgium and Ukraine in the field of industrial and commercial exchanges.
We are grateful to the Kiev Chamber of Commerce for the organization of such useful meeting!
On 30th of March 2012 in Lviv National Polytechnic University was conducted the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 'Universities as engines of Innovation: From theory to practice'.
The conference provided the attendees with an excellent opportunity to share and exchange the latest knowledge on Innovation System. Over 70 people attended the conference. Among the representatives of our Academy in the Conference took part Mr. Olexander Tovkan (Director of the CICE), Ms. Iryna Sorokina (Manager of the CICE), Mr. Andrey Petrenko (Head of the International Relation Office). Mr. Olexander Tovkan presented on the Conference report “Presentation of Innovative Projects to Potential Investors”. Irina's presentation was – “Sources of Funding of Innovative Projects in Ukraine ”.
According to the results of the Conference were published a practical handbook “Building Innovation Culture in the Ukrainian Universities”

The brochure contains general information about documenting of innovative and investment projects (business ideas) design, reviewed possible sources of funding. Recommendations on the selection of the most appropriate type of documents and sources of funding at different stages of the project life cycle are provided.
Materials of brochure intended for a wide range of people interested in pursuing their own business ideas and projects, and can be useful both for beginners and for those who have some experience in this field. You can also recommend the use of brochures materials for teachers and students in the educational process.
NMAU student Ms. Yuliia Prokopchuk with her business project “ Call-Centre EURO 2012 ” was selected as the winner of the Competition.
On November, 16 2011 7 NMAU students have presented their business projects to the Jury which consisted of representatives of real business, Dnipropetrovs'k Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Voka Chamber of Commerce and Industry of East Flanders, National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine and Katholieke Hogeschool Sint-Lieven.
