Centre of Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (CICE) was established at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (NMAU) as independent inter-faculty unit in November 2010.
CICE functions as structural subdivision of the NMAU, that independently provide services for all interested in enterprise, economy, management, finances, accounting, etc.
CICE is delivered within two international projects that are being carried out by the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine: “Boosting the knowledge triangle by establishing Innovation Offices in Ukrainian higher education institutions” (UNI4INNO) and “Flemish-Ukrainian Entrepreneurship Laboratory” Project (FUEL).
Therefore, there are two blocks of CICE activities: “Innovation & Commercialization” and “Entrepreneurship”.
The core CICE task is the providing of support services for researches, teachers, students and graduates who wish to implement the results of research activities, realize personal business ideas and creative potential.
