WITH TARAS THROUGH LIFE!
That was the name of the creative evening held on March 11, 2026, at the House of the Architect in our city. People interested in the work of the genius of the Ukrainian people, Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, were invited to the discussion club meeting. The host of the event, Herman Savchenko, invited representatives from various educational institutions and organizations of the city on the Dnipro. First, the floor was given to Mykola Myronenko, professor of the Department of International Economics, Management, and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines at UDUNT, who presented examples of poetry in the cinquain genre on the theme of "Taras Shevchenko." Then, dermatovenerologist Nataliia Mykhailets took the stage of the "Kryk" (Scream) theater with notes for the script "Taras — A Tough Nut to Crack." It was a fully interactive performance with maximum audience engagement. The thoughts of Bulgarian amateur poet Volodymyr Stafidov generated considerable excitement among the participants of the creative gathering. A remarkable response from the audience was sparked by the performance of Dnipro bard Serhii Reshetnyk, who currently resides in Kyiv. He offered those in attendance a series of variations on works by Taras Shevchenko accompanied by classical guitar. In total, the artist has over thirty compositions set to the verses of the genius of the Ukrainian people. Five or six were presented that evening in wonderful original arrangements. Nearly two hours of the creative gathering flew by unnoticed, leaving behind only a certain audiovisual trace. We look forward to new and exciting future gatherings!!
