Basic construction industry and metal structures
Read to MЗ specialty groups all forms of training. Students perform a course project. The course provided with teaching aids.
Academic discipline ''Fundamentals of building the case and metal construction'' is a normative and part of the cycle professionally oriented courses in the specialty.
The purpose of the study subjects - the assimilation of knowledge, awareness and skills of calculations on the strength, rigidity and stability of structural elements.
As a result of studying the discipline a student must:
know:
- Basic tasks and methods of discipline;
- Stages, the sequence of calculations and conditions of strength, rigidity and stability of structural elements;
- Available background literature and the use of modern computer technology to solve typical problems of discipline;
able to:
- Read and drawings depict the elements of building structures, using basic construction terminology, as well as normative data of industrial construction;
- Using the normative and technical documentation and reference literature, acquired skills, using standard techniques to be able to design a basic metal structures.
Criteria for success - to receive positive evaluations when using 2-control works of mixed type.
Diagnostic training - sets of tests.
Relationship with other disciplines - is preceded by the study subjects ''Graphic'', ''Higher Mathematics'' ,''Theoretical Mechanics'', ''Strength of Materials''.
Acquired in ''Principles of construction industry and metal structures'' knowledge and skills used in the study subjects: ''Applied Mechanics'' and ''The mechanical and technological equipment of metallurgical production''.
