The Department of Iron and Steel Metallurgy, founded in 1899, is one of leaders on preparation of skilled specialists for a steel-smelting production, by its confessed scientific and methodical center.
A department conducts preparation on speciality "Metallurgy". educational programs "Technologies and equipment of metallurgical production" (Bachelor's degree), "Metallurgical processes of production and processing of metals and alloys" (Master's degree), "Metallurgy" (PhD degree).
