Professor of Dnipropetrovsk National University named for O. Gonchar, Dnipro, Ukraine.

 

Education, scientific degrees and titles:

- 1959 Dnipropetrovsk State University, qualification of engineer-mechanic, specialty - mechanics;

- 1964 defense of the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences;

- 1973 defense of the thesis for the for the degree of Doctor of Technical Science;

- 1968 awarded the academic title of senior scientist in "Theory of elasticity and plasticity";

- 1979 awarded the academic title Professor of cathedra "Applied theory of elasticity";

- 1995 elected a Corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine in specialty "Mechanics".

 

Rewards:

- State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (1997), Prize of NAS of Ukraine named for academician M. K. Yangel and Prize of NAS of Ukraine named for academician S. P. Timoshenko.

- Order of the Friendship of Peoples, medals.

- honored signs "For Scientific Achievements" of the NAS of Ukraine and "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

 

Research activities.

Hudramovich V. S. - author of more than 360 printed works and inventions, including 12 monographs, issued in Kiev and Moscow, 2 state standards.

The main scientific activities:

- nonlinear deformation, dynamics and strength of thin-walled structures of modern technology (energetics, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, oil and gas industry);

- development of mathematical models and create effective methods of determining the stress-strain state and load capacity considering elastic-visco-plastic material properties of complex shell-rod systems of modern technology with defects of different physical nature under extreme operating conditions;

- development of energy-save technologies of devices antenna-waveguide technology and concentrators of solar energy. Dynamics, strength, optics of these objects.
