Mrs. Korol has been working for the Academy since 1975. She is the patriarch of the Accounting and Audit Department of the Academy, the mastermind of its scientific body.
She works with students from the very beginning of their study in a number of academic subjects, such as "Accounting and Bookkeeping", "Accounting and Analysis in Foreign-Economical Activity", “Financial Accounting II” and many others. Under her academic patronage, a number of students had graduated with the prestigious "Degree with honours" and built remarkable careers in various industries. An educatee of Mrs. Korol, N.Romanovskaya, has won the Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for her research in economics and Yu.Akimova became a prize-winner at the All-Ukrainian contest of students' science and research projects.
Grigoreta Korol heads scientific activities of the Department, she captains numerous researches in accounting, financial analysis, financial management of an enterprise, expense management, and further development of informational support in accounting. She has authored around 350 scientific and science-and-methodology works, including 5 monographs and 11 study guides endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and NMetAU. She had supervised 3 researches conducted by staff members Renata Sokolskaya, Yuliya Trush, and Yuliya Raspopova, who have subsequently attained their degrees of Candidate of science and became Associate Professors.
For her academic, scientific and pedagogic accomplishments, Mrs. Korol has been awarded with "Petro Mohyla" Award of Merit, the highest professional honorary award for excellence of educational achievements bestowed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Mrs. Korol is also the recipient of the National metallurgical academy of Ukraine award "For Service".
