Military retraining courses start at the National Metallurgical Academy

Military personnel and members of their families have an opportunity to undergo professional retraining at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (NMеtAU) in specialty "Energy Management". Training is carried out in the framework of "Ukraine-Norway" international project.

The course consists of 500 academic hours and focused on practical skills. After finishing the program, students will receive 3 documents:

• Certificate of professional retraining in the specialty "Energy Auditor";

• Joint certificate of NMetAU and Nord University (Norway);

• Joint diploma of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Norway.

In addition, students will undergo psychological trainings on social adaptation and get practical skills in employment. They will learn how to write CV and communicate during an interview with employers. Moreover, students will receive information about different sources of job seeking and features of private business creation.

Courses will last until December 8, 2017. After completing the courses, Charity Foundation "Heritage of Ukraine" will provide graduates with comprehensive support in job seeking and social adaptation during a year.

There are 37 students enrolled in retraining courses. Among them - retired members, wives and widows of perished defenders of Ukraine.
