Spring semester of military retraining and social adaptation of military personnel started in the framework of the project "Ukraine-Norway"

On February 22 at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine launched the spring semester of military retraining and social adaptation of military personnel, ATO participants and their families within the framework of the Ukraine-Norway project. Almost 40 people are involved in training for the specialty "Energy Management".

At the grand opening the participants of the new course became acquainted with the project, head of the Charity Foundation “Heritage of Ukraine” Olena Bilya, experienced pedagogical staff who will teach during 3 months, provide practical skills and encourage the military personnel to effectively implement the knowledge for worthy employment and starting their own business.  Kateryna Chizhyk, graduate of the first semester of the program, also shared her experience in studying within the program and gave some advises for new students. Kateryna assured new students that during the training courses everyone will get unforgettable practical experience, opportunities for effective self-realization, large number of new friends, emotions and impressions.

After completing the courses, Charity Foundation "Heritage of Ukraine" will provide graduates with comprehensive support in job seeking and social adaptation during a year.

The new courses will last until the end of May 2018.

After finishing the program, students will receive 3 documents:

• Certificate of professional retraining in the specialty "Energy Auditor";

• Joint certificate of NMetAU and Nord University (Norway);

• Joint diploma of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Norway
