On March 25, 2022, defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state from the Russian occupiers, a senior soldier of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko - Artem Leonidovych Ponochovny, born on August 1, 1987. Artem studied at our faculty (group ME915-17) and in June had to defend a bachelor's degree. But the insidious war forced to defend the Motherland ... Modest, decent, polite ... This is how he was remembered by his colleagues, staff and faculty.
