The theoretical content of the subject area - a system of fundamental concepts in physics, chemistry, physical chemistry, theory of metallurgical processes, metallurgy and materials science, etc., which are necessary for high-quality mastery of disciplines.
Methods, techniques and technologies - methods of theoretical and practical research of processes and technologies of production, casting and out-of-furnace processing of cast iron, steel, ferroalloys and special alloys, as well as products from them obtained on modern technological lines for casting metals and metal forming.
